The sun glows brightly, its hues of yellow and orange slipping in between the thin layers of fog. Nothing compares to the beauty of a Venetian sunrise. My heart swells as I look out upon the Grand Canal, the water almost still and calmly reflecting the morning light as it glides past majestic facades towards the proud Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute. With winters cold embrace comes an unfamiliar peace. And it soothes my soul. Here, at this moment, everything else simply melts away.
Size: 6”x 6”(15cms x 15cms) excluding frame, 8”x 8”(20.5cms x 20.5cms) including window mount. Media: Acrylic on 300gsm hot press watercolour paper, finished with polymer varnish to archive standard. Presented in a soft white, card window mount. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
