Cabaletta

A single pebble dropped.

Cabaletta is a musical term from the Italian meaning vibrant and musical, full of energy and movement - it refers particularly to a lively, rhythmical section of an operatic aria. Who knew?

I chose it as the painting’s title, because it seems to mirror the nature of light as the water ripples.
