Cumulus Congestus

The towering cumulus cloud or cumulus congestus is a joy to paint. You may have noticed. Scientifically they they occupy the part of the atmosphere that is unstable because of convection currents. It's chaos up there! And chaos is transformative, isn't it? Times of great change force us to embrace uncertainty, it gives us great energy and perhaps helps us to simply 'get better'. I think that's why I love them so much.
