In the Mood

I painted this yesterday and whilst I don't particularly remember feeling melancholic, I do recall feeling in the mood to paint more of the worlds favourite flower. In case you hadn't noticed, I go through phases in my work and at the moment' it's roses. It has turned out to be a rather emotional and atmospheric piece and all the better for it I think. Do you agree?
Size: 8”x 6”(20cms x 15cms) excluding frame, 8”x 8”(25.5cms x 20.5cms) including window mount. Media: Acrylic on 300gsm hot press watercolour paper, finished with polymer varnish to archive standard. Presented in a soft white, card window mount. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
