On really hot summer days the English landscape of my memory with its patchwork design and its infinite greens, turns hazy. Colours meld and fuse together as the atmosphere plays tricks on our squinted eyes. These are the summer days that are printed on our very DNA. Our English souls have inherited these scenes over millennia and I love it so.
