Trulli, madly, deeply i

Living in Italy is one thing. Living in Puglia is quite another. What distinguishes the region is the extraordinary architecture represented by the Trullo houses that you find scattered throughout the region. They are totally unique to Puglia and I suppose the most famous examples are found in the little town of Alberobello, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Almost all of the residences there are Trullo. Just to be clear they are conical roofed and are generally whitewashed. 1 cone is a Trullo, more than one are Trulli. If you get the chance to visit, do, because you 'trulli' wont have seen anything like it!
