Cumulonimbus are my favourite cloud formations and I suspect I'm not alone in this sentiment! Their dense, towering verticality makes them unique in our skies in that it they are the only type that spans the low, middle and high layers. Their undeniable drama is a magnet for artists like me and I am happy to pronounce myself obsessed!
